The Army of James II 1685-1688

Many of us have Stephen Ede-Borrett’s excellent little booklet on the Williamite Wars.  It was published about 30 years ago if I recall right.

Stephen has now written The Army of James II 1685-1688 recently published by the prolific Helion Press.  He is an author who does his research and tests the evidence.

As you might expect it is absolutely first rate and so if you are interested in the genesis of the British Army, Monmouth’s Rising and the background to the Williamite War you will want a copy.
